Sejlerkortet expands: 215 new German harbours added
With this update, Sejlerkortet covers the entire German Baltic coast — from Flensburg all the way to Świnoujście.

Some news we’ve been looking forward to sharing: Sejlerkortet has just been expanded with 215 German harbours along the Baltic coast.
From today, you and your crew can plan routes across Denmark, Sweden and Germany — directly in the app. That opens up a whole new range of trips, whether you’re casting off from a Danish, Swedish or German marina.
A milestone that took longer than we’d hoped
Last summer we promised that Germany would make it onto the chart. We didn’t quite get there in time — and the honest reason is that we saw an enormous influx of new users which, naturally, took up all of our focus. Sorry for the wait. We’re really pleased to finally have it across the line, for everyone’s benefit.
Local knowledge needed
Sejlerkortet’s real strength is its users. In Denmark, you have already contributed more than 4,000 updates on harbour facilities, pricing and payment options. That kind of input is irreplaceable.
For now, the 215 new German harbours have been populated with whatever information we could gather from our desks. To finish the job, we need the people who actually visit these harbours to fill in the last details and correct anything that is no longer up to date.
Help us spread the word (feel free to copy!)
To get the most accurate information, we are hoping you will tip off your German sailing friends. Share Sejlerkortet in German Facebook groups for leisure sailors, on forums, or send it directly to people you have met at the harbour.
The more German sailors who start using the app at their home harbours, the better the chart becomes for all of us. And if the German user base grows large enough, we will look at translating the entire app into German.
To make sharing in groups and networks easy, we have drafted a short German blurb based on what we know works well. Feel free to copy and paste:
Moin!
Schaut mal rein: https://www.sejlerkortet.dk/
If you notice a German harbour that is missing from this update, please get in touch — we will do our best to add it as quickly as possible.
We are looking forward to welcoming new users on board and wishing everyone a fantastic season — in familiar waters and new ones alike!
